My Review

The book started off kind of slow so it was a little hard for me to get into it at first. What I liked about the storyline was that it was very realistic–there was no “love at first sight” kind of moment, and the romance between Brennan and Jonas seemed truly genuine and very admirable. While this did take away from the suspense in the storyline to propel the plot forward more, there were certain scenes that made up for it.

The characters were written in a way that were incredibly relatable—just ordinary people living their life. It’s truly the epitome of a contemporary YA novel.

Okay to wrap this up, that was an AMAZINGGGG ending! So so heartfelt and beautiful, also gave me some tears, and overall tied the book together so well.

  1. I like the idea of the characters coming across as genuine as usually when I read a book I’m annoyed at them for not being that way as it’s not realistic and I never finish it 😂 This is sounds like a relaxing read, great post! 💕
