Summer 2019: Trends for August

Woven/wicker handbags & neon colours!

This summer’s trend is definitely woven handbags.

Neon is everywhere. What better way to mimic the summer sun than with a bright yellow frock? Alice + Olivia makes a neon slip dress that every girl needs for this season’s festivities. As for an accessory trend, I’m always a sucker for a wicker bag or sandal. I spend time in the Hamptons over the summer and it seems like everyone owns some type of wicker accessory.

Bring out the tie dye and neons.

The trend for this summer? Less edited photos, sharing more moments and small captures.

It’s been tough deciding what the biggest trend of the summer has been. From leopard midi skirts to graphic tees to dad sneakers – there have been so many!

I think one that I have seen everywhere and really have been a fan of has been the paper bag shorts. They come in so many styles, colors and prints so there is certainly one for everyone-and they’re affordable too! I’m hoping this trend stays around for next summer too because it’s one I definitely have been loving!

Fall 2019: Trends for September

Patterns and prints!

Fall trends are going to include pearl headbands and lots of stripes!

Look for something unexpected in autumn. Dark florals were all over the fall 2019 runways, ironic considering that florals are typically a spring style staple!

Pull out those blazers and suit styles for the fall!

For the fall, look forward to shades of sage, layered lace, and fun knits. I’m personally hoping for some tweed! 🙂

Animal print. This is definitely not a new trend, but I think it will still be going strong for fall. Leopard is and always will be my favorite, but I think snakeskin is going to be making more of an appearance and I’m all for it! The Nordstrom sale recently had snakeskin booties and they were selling out like crazy! Super cute to throw on as a little accent to any outfit. Europe and New York Instagram girls have been wearing this print for a while now too, it’s about time it made its way all across the country!

A huge thank you to Amanda, Carrie, Neeloo, Talia, and Ali for taking the time to contribute to this post!
